Market trackers at TradingView report that rapid growth continues in crypto-based decentralized finance applications. Latest figures show that the total market capitalization of DeFi-related cryptos has risen to an all-time high of €122.6 billion.

The previous all-time high was hit in May 2021.

Analysts expect continued growth to be fueled by increased throughput and new features on the Ethereum network following the recent London upgrade.

DeFi’s explosive growth is among the factors leading researchers at Crypto Parrot to forecast increased demand for crypto and blockchain professionals.

According to Crypto Parrot, the share of jobs involving cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology on job boards more than doubled during the year ended July 2021. Job demand increased by 118 percent.

Software developers are in high demand, but growth in related disciplines has eclipsed growth in the development sector.

For example, the demand for human resources professionals among crypto and blockchain employers has grown by 200 percent. Crypto-related marketing listings grew by nearly 106%, and finance by 100 percent.

Crypto Parrot found additional growth in IT operations and helpdesk (54 percent), accounting (39 percent), and management (30 percent).

Robust growth in job listings is an indicator that companies are prospering and expanding their operations. It is a good time to be a crypto professional.
