Garage Studios just announced that their tactical first-person shooter (FPS) blockchain game, Dissolution, is live on Ethereum Mainnet.

Dissolution’s graphics are reminiscent of AAA-games like Call of Duty – Modern Warfare and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ while their blockchain integration creates a new level of social gameplay by enabling players to buy and sell their assets through decentralized marketplaces.

Dissolution is now playable via Early Access on Steam, it features three game modes that give players the option to team up against each other or play against AI. Dissolution is slated to become a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) in 2020. Players will be able to control territories and expand their status and power by forming alliances and amassing blockchain resources within a realistic economy.

The world-class development team has been testing their blockchain integration on Kovan Tesnet for the past three months, receiving rave reviews from fans in that time. Any users that have accrued Dissolution weapons and skins on Testnet are invited to log onto the Dissolution website and convert their assets to Mainnet.

Dissolution’s blockchain integration is made possible by the Enjin Platform, a blockchain development ecosystem that enables non-blockchain developers to create Ethereum-based assets and integrate them into their apps and games. Every asset minted with the Enjin Platform is an ERC-1155 token backed by Enjin Coin (ENJ). To date, over 59 million ERC-1155 assets have been minted using the Enjin Platform, resulting in 1% of the total supply of ENJ being locked in digital assets.
